Bay Vets Director Dr Colin Houston BVM&S CertSAS MRCVS leads our referral team with over 20 years’ experience, 15 of those in referral level surgery. He’s knowledgeable and keen to support referring vets by offering advice where he can.
Dr Kris Herman
DVM AVP CertSAS MRCVS (Residency Trained)
Dr Kris Herman DVM AVP CertSAS MRCVS (Residency Trained) offers a further 13 years of experience with particular interest in skin grafting and spinal surgery. He joined Bay Vets in 2020, allowing the department caseload to increase significantly.
Dr Alex Haine
BVM&S CertAVP(GSAS) MRCVS.
Alex has a certificate in advanced veterinary practice and has been performing complex surgeries for many years. He has a particular interest in treating cruciate injuries.
The team of over 20 Registered Veterinary Nurses including a dedicated night-team, over 15 Student Veterinary Nurses, Auxiliary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants as well as our excellent, compassionate Reception Team constitute an environment wherein pets needs are prioritised and their owners are offered options then kept informed every step of the way.
We have invested in modern equipment to best provide the highest quality services.
We are located conveniently near M6 junctions 33 and 34, have private car parks for clients’ use and are easy to find. We are accessible via public transport also and have a Pet Transport Service should collection and delivery for your appointment be required. This means we can easily service all of Lancashire, Cumbria and West Yorkshire.
